Apple Festival Rotary 5k Race

This is the 27th Annual Lincolnton Rotary Club Apple Festival 5k and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk Race.  The race begins and ends at Lincolnton High School. 

5k Run Course:  The Run Course begins at Lincolnton High School and takes you through some of Lincolnton's beautiful neighborhoods.  But the best part of the run, is down Main Street Lincolnton, where there is great crowd support, plus a water station at the 1/2 way point of the 5k Run!  Running straight toward Lincolnton's beautiful Courthouse and then onto the finish line makes for a great run course.

1 mile Fun Run/Walk Course:  The 1 mile Fun Run is great for kids or adults.  It's a quick easy route leaving from Lincolnton High School heading up North Aspen Street.  You circle through a safety friendly area that will be great for kids and adults!

Early registrations are non-refundable and must be post marked by September 8th, 2013. Early registration guarantees event T-shirt.

Age Groups: 

1 mile Fun Run/Walk

5k

8 yrs old and older

Men and Women; 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 and over.

 

 

 

Awards:
Award for top male and female overall 5k run
Medals to top 3 in 5k Run in each age group, both male and female
Award for top male and female overall in 1 mile Run/Walk
Participation ribbon for all entrants in 1 mile Run/Walk

Parking:  Parking will be available at Lincolnton High School on Race morning.

Pack Pick Up:  Pack Pick Up will start at 7:00am at Lincolnton High School.  All participants must have their bib numbers and be registered by 7:40am.

Timing:  The 5k will be timed using chip timing.

Other information: 
Commemorative T-shirt to all entrants to all events
Water Station on East Main Street which is 1/2 way point on 5k Run
Shower Facilities will be available at Lincolnton High School
