There’s no other opportunity to run on the Airports Runway and watch the planes fly in!

FLAT!  FAST!  FUN!

Course:  The 5k begins and ends at Lincolnton/Lincoln County Regional Airport.  Come set a PR on this fast, flat course.  Runners will run the full length of the runway and even a portion of the taxiway.  There is plenty of space for spectators and family members to cheer.

Fly-In:  After the race, stick around for the Fly-In.  Catered food, music, and planes, planes, and more planes.  Enjoy a clear blue sky dotted with planes in the air and rows of aircraft spanning from the early days of aviation to the engineering marvels of today.  There is no admission fee so bring the family and plan on having lunch for a nominal fee.

$25 Adults pre-registered; $35 race day

Entry fees are non-refundable.  Early registration guarantees event tshirt.  Late registration shirts available while supplies last. 

Packet Pick-up:  Race morning, Saturday, Nov. 9th from 7:00-7:45am at Lincolnton/Lincoln County Regional Airport.  

Timing System:  The 5k event will be chip timed.  

Awards and Age Divisions:  The awards ceremony will be held immediately following the race.  Awards will be given in the following categories:
*1st Place Overall Male/Female
*1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following age groups:
10 and under; 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

Parking:  There is plenty of parking at the airport.
