The Troutman Ride and Stride benefits the Charlotte Chapter of JDRF.  The purpose of JDRF is further research to:

  • CURE-To CURE Type 1 Diabetes and remove the disease from the lives of our loved ones
  • TREAT-To develop better ways to TREAT Type 1 Diabetes allowing people to live better, healthier lives
  • PREVENT-To PREVENT Type 1 Diabetes from occurring in those most susceptible

Description:  Both 5k and 1 mile event will begin at 10:30am.  The 5k run will be a chip timed event with category results and winners.

5k Course:  The 5k run course will begin and end on Rumple Street.  This single lap course will challenge you while taking you through several beautiful Troutman neighborhoods.

1 Mile Fun Run Course:  The 1 mile fun run course will begin and end on Rumple Street.  This will be a single lap course that starts on Rumple and circles through an adjacent neighborhood and finishing back on Rumple Street.

Parking:  The Troutman Ride and Stride is held at Troutman Middle School and all school parking lots are available.  Additional parking is available on the same site at Troutman Elementary School.

Entry Fees are non-refundable and must be received by August 31st, 2013 to guarantee an event T-shirt.  On Line Registration can be processed through PayPal at no additional charge.

 

Food will be provided for all participants.  Lunch is provided by Outback Steakhouse.
